The Icelandair “Covid Plus” Medical Cover will be available through integrating with XCover – Cover Genius’ award-winning global insurance distribution platform – and has been specially tailored for Icelandair global customers and ensures that travelers and their travel companions are covered if they get COVID-19 or another illness or injury while traveling, or if they need medical assistance while they are overseas. 

Icelandair will thus become the first airline to offer all their customers COVID protection through Cover Genius that will give them peace of mind when booking knowing that they’re covered if they get COVID-19 prior to or during their trip.

Icelandair’s global customers will also benefit from the insurtech’s award-winning claims technology, that delivers an industry-leading post-claims NPS which simplifies the claims process and pays out approved claims instantly in 90+ currencies.
