Cover Genius appoints Julio Castellón SVP Regional Head of Partnerships, Latin America

Cover Genius expands its presence in Latin America and appoints Julio Castellón as SVP Regional Head of Partnerships for the region.

New York, 16 March 2021 — Cover Genius, the global insurtech leader whose insurance distribution platform provides protection for the customers of some of the world’s largest online companies, reinforces its commitment to Latin America with the  the appointment of Julio Castellón as its Senior Vice President, Partnerships for Latin America.

In his role, Castellón will be leading the company’s strategic partnerships in LatAm, extending on the company’s successes with regional travel, retail, logistics, property and financial services giants including Despegar, Rentcars.com, eBay, Booking Holdings, Intuit and others who have integrated the multi-award winning XCover global insurance distribution platform. This appointment demonstrates Cover Genius’ commitment to grow its presence in Latin America where the company has secured key market licenses that enable local and global partners to sell or embed insurance. At the same time, Cover Genius hopes to continue supporting companies in the travel and retail sectors, to simplify their insurance needs through cutting-edge technology.

Castellón has lived in 6 countries, speaks 4 languages and holds a Master of Science-Marketing.
